Zainab “Daby” Faidhi is an Iraqi-American visual artist, illustrator, and animator based in Los Angeles. She holds a BA in Architecture from the University of Jordan and an MA in Character Animation from Central Saint Martins, UAL, London.
Daby most recently worked as Assistant Art Director on Bat-Fam and the Emmy-nominated Merry Little Batman at Warner Bros. Animation. Her credits include the Oscar-nominated The Breadwinner, for which she received an Annie Award nomination for Production Design, as well as several animated television productions.
Her work spans visual development, art direction, illustration, and children’s publishing. Alongside her animation career, she maintains a fine art practice focused on handmade mixed-media and three-dimensional work that explores architecture and urban environments.
